Recipes with Fortune Besan
Besan Laddu
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Fortune Besan
- ¾ cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar powder
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- Chopped dry fruits (optional)
Method:
- Roast besan in ghee on low flame till golden and aromatic.
- Cool slightly, add sugar powder and cardamom.
- Shape into laddus and garnish with dry fruits.
Besan Khaman Dhokla
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Fortune Besan
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp eno/soda
- Salt, turmeric
Method:
- Mix besan, curd, and spices to a thick batter.
- Add eno, pour into a greased plate, steam for 15 mins.
- Temper with mustard seeds and serve soft and spongy.
Besan Chila
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Fortune Besan
- Chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander
- Salt, chili, cumin
Method:
- Mix all ingredients with water to make a batter.
- Spread on tawa and cook until crisp on both sides.
- Serve with green chutney or ketchup.
